Today, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite places to go when the weather is hot and we need a bit of a cool down. Remember to check weather conditions and if places are open before heading on out. And if you feel a weekend in Colorado isn’t enough, then find your next dream apartment here.

1) Bay Aquatic Park

Located in Broomfield, Colorado, Bay Aquatic Park is a great place to spend the day. Designed for families with children 13 and younger in mind, you’ll find plenty of great options for everyone. With two body slides, an inner tube slide, and racing slides, all of the older kids will be entertained for hours. But for the little ones, there’s the leisure pool with zero-depth entry, plus an interactive water play structure and a tot pool with slides for those under six.

2) Adventure Island

Adventure Island in Greeley, Colorado is an indoor waterpark that offers so many amazingly fun activities. Check out the warm water pool oasis that has a lazy river, zero-depth pool, and play structure for the littles. And if you’re looking for a bit more adventure, there are the massive indoor waterslides, though you have to be over 48 inches tall to ride. Plus, there’s a water basketball hoop that is a must to try out. And when you need a break, take a jaunt outside to the outdoor patio that’s perfect for an afternoon picnic.

3) Oasis Family Aquatic Park

If you’re looking for a day of fun in Brighton, Colorado, then look no further than Oasis Family Aquatic Park. Designed for the whole family, there’s so much to offer. From the lazy river with a zero-depth entry and tot pool with interactive play features for the little ones to the two exciting slides and a climbing wall in the dive well for the older ones. And when you need a snack, check out the full concessions stand.

4) Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center

Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center boasts one of the largest indoor hot springs pools in the country.
