A hailstorm pummeled a garden residents had planted at apartments in Colorado doing a lot of damage.
Eric Kornacki and Joseph Teipel met at the University of Denver, and traveled through Nicaragua on a service learning project. When they returned to America they put their skills to use by teaching those living in poverty in Colorado to grow organic vegetables in their yards and at apartments in Colorado.
Residents were set to take their produce to the farmers market the next but the damage from the hail storm made that impossible according to the folks a thttps://www.denverpost.com/newsheadlines/ci_18488861.
